I forgot to write about this dream earlier but. I remember in my dream i was in a place where I was comfortable enough to act myself. There were two scales infront of me on top of a table. A friend of mine(i don't know irl) convinced me to throw up. We both took turns piling up throw up on the scales. Looking at each other for approval in a humorous lol way. The puke piled up like crushed up ice would. I only remembered the dream somewhat sorta vivid after I got high off some thc, took a shower and gagged on my toothbrush. And then I was like "oh wait, i remember this dream. Hopefully ill remember it so I can write it down and see what it means".
Dreams can sometimes seem bizarre, but they often contain symbols and themes that can reflect your subconscious thoughts, emotions, or experiences. Let's explore the elements of your dream:
Comfortable Place to Act Yourself: This aspect of the dream suggests that you are either in or seeking an environment where you can be authentic and express yourself freely. This might reflect your real-life desire for acceptance and safety to be who you are without judgment.
Unknown Friend: Having a friend in the dream who you don’t recognize in real life may signify an aspect of your personality or an inner voice trying to communicate with you. This friend may represent your playful or experimental side that is urging you towards some action.
The Scales: Scales are often symbols of balance and judgment. In this context, they might reflect how you are weighing different aspects of your life, decisions, or feelings. It suggests a process of evaluation or comparison.
Throwing Up: This is a strong symbol that can represent the need to purge, release, or let go of something in your life. It might be that you are processing emotions, feelings, or experiences that you need to expel from your system. If you were able to do this with humor, it might indicate that you're approaching this process with some levity or in a non-serious manner, which can be a sign of resilience or a way to cope.
Piling Up the Throw Up Like Crushed Ice: This peculiar imagery might reflect how problems, worries, or emotions can accumulate if not addressed. However, the comparison to crushed ice might suggest that these issues feel manageable, or are not as solid or permanent as they seem.
Remembering the Dream After Gagging on a Toothbrush: This could imply how certain sensations or actions can trigger memories or awareness of underlying issues. The gagging related to remembering the dream might also connect to the feeling of needing to expel or "get something out."
Feeling High on THC: THC or cannabis may alter your perception or open your mind to new ideas, sometimes facilitating memory recall and giving insight into thoughts and feelings you might overlook when sober.
Overall Interpretation: This dream appears to center around themes of comfort, authenticity, evaluation, and release. You might be in a phase where you're assessing parts of your life, deciding what to keep and what to let go of, but in a way that doesn't feel overly serious or stressful. The involvement of a humorous or light-hearted approach suggests that you are coping well with changes or challenges. Remember, dreams can often be personal, and your own associations are key in understanding their true meaning.
